Hello Coloring Friends!
To honor and celebrate the people who have fought to the point of giving up their lives, I’ve put together this lovely collection of Free Memorial Day Coloring Pages.
These pages are beautifully designed. I put thought into each one, and you’ll find thoughtful details featuring the American flag, soldiers, stars, medals, poppy flowers, and other patriotic images and phrases.
There’s a page for everyone, from large, bold, and spacious illustrations for toddlers and preschoolers, to more detailed pages for older kids and adults!
I hope you have a wonderful time coloring them, either at home or in the classroom, while also reflecting on the importance of this holiday.

Feel free to print as many coloring pages as you need for home, classroom, church, etc. However, selling or claiming them as your own is prohibited. If you know of any fellow moms or teachers who would like to use them, please share the link to this post with them.
How to Download?
There are two ways to download each page:
- Click on the page you want to download to open a new window in PDF format. Then, proceed to print from that window.
- Click the yellow “Download PDF” button under each page you want to print to trigger a download to your phone or computer.
Important Printing Tip
Most modern printers and apps will print these coloring pages at the full intended size, even from your phone or tablet. If you have an older printer, your pages may come out a bit smaller, since some older devices automatically shrink PDF files to fit the printable area. For best results, try printing from a computer or newer printer when possible.
Or, if you’d like to get more festive, here’s a page featuring American-themed balloons!
This page would be a perfect introduction to what Memorial Day is.
I had to include the emblematic phrase of “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.”
The following pages illustrate that sometimes, soldiers do not return home. But we honor and remember them, and we are also grateful for their sacrifice.
I love the page of this soldier with the American flag on a hilltop!
And also, a medal of courage and honor for our heroes!
If your child loves airplanes, this will be so much fun to color!
Here’s a soldier saluting!
The Statue of Liberty represents freedom! This page is also a great introduction to what this national monument is all about.
I loved this soaring eagle carrying the American flag! (Also my child’s favorite page in the entire set)
I hope you and your kids enjoy these Memorial Day coloring pages as much as I enjoyed making them. Coloring is a great way to spark conversations about what this holiday means and to honor those who served.
